The Tea Act, passed by Parliament on May 10, 1773, would launch the ultimate spark to the revolutionary movement in Boston. But Parliament would not give that time. WHEREAS by an act, made in the twelfth 12 months of his current Majesty's reign, (intituled, An act for granting a downside of a part of the customs upon the exportation of tea to Ireland, and the British dominions in America
